There could be some major sales elsewhere in the Championship as
well with some of the Premier League’s big guns turning to the second tier to find value in the market.
Here are the latest transfer rumours concerning the league …
United could spend £40m on Sarr
Manchester United’s desire to sign a forward before the October 5 could lead to Watford’s Ismaila Sarr as a realistic alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

The Telegraph report that United have made an enquiry for the
Senegal international as attempts to sign Sancho drag over the
Premier League side’s reluctance to pay £110m.
Sarr was previously linked with Liverpool earlier in the window
with the Hornets valuing the 22-year-old at £40m.

Bayern join Aarons race

Chelsea prepared to launch £40m bid for West Ham’s Declan Rice before transfer deadline
Bayern Munich are the latest big club to show an interest in
Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.
According to the Daily Mail, Bayern have identified Aarons as a
potential alternative to Ajax star Sergino Dest, who looks set to
instead opt for a move to Barcelona in this window.
Barca had reportedly made an approach over Aarons themselves
earlier in the summer, but saw their offer of a loan deal with the
option to buy at £20m rejected by the Canaries. Aarons is one of Norwich’s most prominent stars to be linked with
a move away since their relegation from the Premier League, with AC Milan another side to have recently been credited with an
interest.

Spurs and Man United eyeing King

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still interested in a move for Bournemouth striker Joshua King, but could well face competition from Manchester United.
According to TalkSPORT, Spurs are hopeful of landing the Norwegian on a cut-price deal before the close of the transfer window, with Jose Mourinho believed to still be in the market for
an option to support striker Harry Kane.
However, Manchester United are believed to be monitoring the situation, and could well launch a late bid should they fail in their bid for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

Williams ready to ‘wait and see’ on Blackburn future

Blackburn Rovers defender Derrick Williams admits he
will have to “wait and see” on what his future holds.
Williams, part of Bristol City’s 2014/15 double-winning squad,
has previously been linked with Swansea City, as well as a move
to the MLS in this window, but a move away is yet to materialise.
Asked if he thought he would have already left the club, he told
the Lancashire Telegraph . “Yeah, to be completely honest with
you.
“Football changes quickly, but all I wanted to do is work hard
and play football and hopefully I’ve shown the gaffer I can do
that in the last couple of weeks. We’ll have to wait and see.”
